CAST · GETTING STARTED

1. Join as a Cast Member (actor signup)

Go to Join Free / Signup and choose Sign up.
Enter your full name (as per ID), email, password (min 8), date of birth, address and mobile.
Accept the Terms, Privacy Policy and truth declaration, solve the captcha, and submit.
Enter the 6-digit email OTP sent to your inbox to create the account.
You land in Setup (6 steps) — complete every step honestly with your own original data.

Under 18? A parent or legal guardian creates and operates the account and stays responsible for everything.

2. Reach a 100% profile

Finish all 6 setup steps (personal, address, body & presence, craft, showreel, declaration).
On your Profile page add your display photo, bio, languages, skills, experience and interests.
Verify your mobile number from the profile page.
Watch the sidebar checklist and profile ring — it shows exactly what is missing.

Only 100%-complete profiles rank at the top of production searches and appear on the Find Work board correctly. Your exact address is never shown to others — only city/state.

3. Browse casting calls & apply (Find Work)

Log in as a Cast Member and open Find Work.
Filter by keyword, location, project type (Feature Film, Web Series, TV, Theatre, Ad…), artist type, age group and language.
Open Details to read the full description and requirements.
Tap Apply →. Applied jobs show ✓ Applied so you never double-apply.
The production team sees your name, age category, city and photo, and may invite you to audition.

Production accounts see a dashboard prompt instead — Find Work is the actors' board.

CAST · AUDITIONS

4. Audition invites & what happens next

When a production team shortlists you, they invite you to audition with project, venue and contact details.
Research the house, tell family where you are going, bring a companion, and meet only in professional venues.
Carry ID copies; never hand over originals, bank details or OTPs.
Never pay for a role and never shoot intimate or explicit content for a "test". See Safety Tips.

5. Edit, update or delete your profile

Edit: open Profile while logged in — update bio, skills, languages, showreel, experience and photos inline.
Mobile/email: re-verify after any change so only you control the account.
Password: use Reset from the login page if you forget it.
Delete: write to castimonyweb@gmail.com from your registered email. Profiles hide immediately; backups may retain copies up to 180 days for legal and safety reasons.

PRODUCTION · GETTING STARTED

1. Join as a Production Member

Go to Post a Casting Call / Casting Signup and register as Director, Producer or Production House.
Verify with email OTP, then share house details (name, CIN, GSTIN where applicable), applicant name and designation, contact numbers, address and casting purpose.
Sign the self-declaration that details are genuine and you are authorised to represent the house.
Complete the short 3-step orientation on fair, in-person verification.
Wait for manual admin approval (up to 30 days). Genuine applications with complete documents clear fastest.

PRODUCTION · APPROVAL

2. Approval & your 16-digit security key

After approval the admin issues your personal 16-digit security key. Enter it on the Locked page to unlock the Dashboard.
The key and approval only unlock access — they do not certify you. Final trust is built in person with artists.
One account per person or entity, non-transferable. Never share the key or OTPs. Log out on shared devices.

3. Discover actors, favourites & project lists

Open the Dashboard → Discover. Only 100%-complete actor profiles rank at the top.
Filter by city, language, age group (Kid / Teenage / Young / Middle Age / Senior Cast) and skill.
Tap ♡ Favourite to save standout talent; create named project lists (e.g. "Web Series — Lead") and save actors into them.
Filter favourites by list, reopen lists anytime, and remove or reorganise as the brief evolves.
Invite to audition from a profile or list. Contact details unlock after the actor accepts your invite.

PRODUCTION · JOBS

4. Post a casting call & review applicants

In the Dashboard, create a job: title, project type, location, artist types, age groups, languages, description and requirements.
Publish with status Open — it appears on the actors' Find Work board.
Review applications (name, age category, city, photo) as they arrive; shortlist and invite to audition.
Close the job when casting is complete. Post only genuine requirements — false postings lead to permanent removal.

PRODUCTION · SAFETY

5. Your safety duties

Verify every artist's identity in person before shoots, payments or travel.
Use artist contact data only for the stated casting purpose. Never copy or redistribute photos outside the platform.
Hold auditions in professional venues with staff present. Never request private photos or videos.
Nudity and pornography mean instant permanent ban plus legal action. Report abuse to castimonyweb@gmail.com.

Is Castimony really free for actors?

Yes — profile creation, showreel hosting, discovery and audition invites cost nothing, forever. Never pay anyone who promises roles in our name; report them.

Is there a fee for production members?

Joining and the approval process are free. Paid plans for premium casting tools will be announced in advance if ever introduced.

How do I reach a 100% profile?

Complete all six setup steps, then add your photo, bio, skills and verify your mobile number on your Profile page. The sidebar checklist shows exactly what is missing.

Who sees my actor profile?

Only logged-in, approved Production Members can browse complete profiles. Your exact address, passwords, OTPs and codes are never shown to other members.

I am under 18. Can I join?

Yes, through your parent or legal guardian, who creates the account, verifies details, accompanies you everywhere, and stays responsible for every interaction.

How do I start casting as a production team?

Register with email OTP, share house/applicant details, finish the 3-step orientation, and wait for manual approval with your 16-digit security key (up to 30 days).

I lost my 16-digit security code / dashboard is locked. What now?

Make sure you log in with the approved email, check your approval email for the key, and re-enter it carefully on the Locked page. If it still fails, write to castimonyweb@gmail.com from your registered email.

How do I apply for a casting call?

Log in as a Cast Member → Find Work → filter → Details → Apply. Applied jobs show ✓ Applied. The team reviews and may invite you to audition.

Can production teams organise actors per project?

Yes — create unlimited named lists, save actors into them, filter favourites by list, and remove or reorganise anytime from the Dashboard.

I did not receive my email OTP. What should I do?

Check spam, wait a minute, then Resend. Confirm you typed the email correctly and that your inbox is not full. If it still fails, try again or contact castimonyweb@gmail.com.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Go to Signup → Log in → Reset, enter your email, and follow the reset link. Use a strong unique password of at least 8 characters.

How do I verify or change my mobile number?

From your Profile page, update the number and complete the mobile OTP step. Keep the number current — teams and verification depend on it.

Which languages, cities and age groups are covered?

Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi and more — Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and beyond; Kid Cast to Senior Cast.

Are actors / productions verified?

Accounts are email-verified and productions are manually approved, with completion scores on profiles. Both sides must still verify ID documents in person before shoots — that final check is always the members' responsibility.

Someone asked me for money for a role. What do I do?

Do not pay. Stop, keep evidence, block/report the profile or job, and email castimonyweb@gmail.com immediately. Genuine members never demand money for roles.

Someone asked for bold / nude photos or videos. What do I do?

Refuse, block, report, and email castimonyweb@gmail.com with evidence. Such requests mean immediate permanent ban and possible reporting to law enforcement.

How do I report harassment or fake profiles?

Use block/report on the profile or job, then email castimonyweb@gmail.com from your registered email with links, dates and screenshots. For threats of harm, contact local police first.

How do I delete my account or data?

Write to castimonyweb@gmail.com from your registered email. Profiles hide immediately; backups may retain copies up to 180 days for legal and safety purposes, including ban records.

Is Castimony hiring?

Not at the moment. See the Careers page — when roles open, they will be listed there.
