By creating an account on Castimony you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. What Castimony is

Castimony is a discovery platform that connects actors ("Cast Members") with directors, producers and production houses ("Production Members"). We do not employ artists, guarantee roles, payments or placements, and we are not a party to any agreement, shoot, payment or travel arrangement made between members.

2. Eligibility

• Adult members must be 18 years or older. Child Artists (under 18) may register only through a parent or legal guardian, who creates and operates the account, verifies every detail, and takes full responsibility for all interactions, shoots, payments and communications.
• One person or entity may hold one account. Accounts are non-transferable.
• You must provide your own original, true and current data exactly as it appears on your identity documents.

3. Your declaration

At signup every member declares: "I hereby submit my own original data. I understand that false data submission may permanently ban my account." Production Members additionally sign a self-declaration that their house, CIN, GSTIN, contacts and applicant details are genuine and that they are authorised to represent the production house.

4. Verification

• Details you submit are used for verification along with your identity documents by the production teams (not Castimony).
• Production Members must verify every artist's identity in person before any shoot, payment or travel.
• Wrong or failed verification may lead to permanent account deletion without refund or notice.

5. Prohibited content & conduct

• No harassment, abuse, threats, hate speech, caste/religion-based discrimination or coercion.
• No demanding or offering money for roles, auditions, guarantees or placements on either side.
• No spam, scraping, fake profiles, impersonation or misuse of another member's photos or data.
• Meet only in safe, professional settings. Never share OTPs or passwords with anyone claiming to be Castimony staff.

6. Photos & intellectual property

• You confirm you own the rights to every photo, video and showreel you upload and consent to Castimony displaying them to other verified members for casting purposes.
• Members may not copy, download or redistribute another member's content outside the platform.
• The Castimony name, logo and design remain our property.

7. Production Members

• Post only genuine casting requirements. False postings lead to permanent removal.
• Keep artist data private. Use contact details solely for the stated casting purpose.
• Dashboard approval and the 16-digit security code do not certify you; they only unlock access. Final trust is built in person.

8. Termination

We may warn, suspend or permanently ban any account that breaches these Terms, submits false data, uploads prohibited content, or is reported for unsafe behaviour — with or without prior notice. Terminated members may not re-register.

9. Liability

Castimony provides the platform "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, fraud, injury or dispute arising between members, including at auditions, shoots or travel. Members interact at their own risk and must do their own due diligence.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
